Contact request form: Word, PDF
Experiments requests can be done according to several procedures:
– For IJCLab users, requests can be made “on the fly”, with a review of the project by the experience committee, which meets quarterly (usually in January, April, June, October). Requests must be made by sending the “experience request form”, completed to the address mosaic@ijclab.in2p3.fr.
– For academics and companies, experiments can be carried out in the form of a service. Requests are made “on the fly” (with a completion time between 3 and 6 weeks for experiments IRMA and ARAMIS). Requests must be made by returning the “contact request form”, completed to the address mosaic@ijclab.in2p3.fr. An accelerator manager will send you a response as soon as possible, along with an experience form in order to clarify your initial request and discuss together your needs (targets, material modifications, experience hosting, sample analysis).
– Experiments requests can be made via the EMIR&A French accelerators network, through the annual call for proposals (around September-October). About thirty days of experience per year are allocated through this call for in situ TEM experiments with one or two ion beams (delivered by ARAMIS and/or IRMA), and for Andromede experiments, or in situ experiments on ARAMIS (RBS-C, on-line, etc.).
